Is there a Centurion lounge in the Tampa airport? ›

Tampa International Airport does not have a Centurion Lounge; however, eligible Amex cardholders can access the Delta Sky Club located in Concourse E, near gate 68.

Card Members can receive access to lounges in the Global Lounge Collection which includes: The Centurion^® Lounge, Delta Sky Club^®, Escape Lounges, Lufthansa Lounge, Plaza Premium Lounge, and Priority Pass Select. All lounge access is subject to space availability.

Customers with select Platinum and Platinum Business Cards from American Express may access Delta Sky Club locations when traveling on a same-day ticket on a Delta-operated (Delta or Delta Connection) or Delta-marketed flight operated by WestJet (006 ticket number).

Although the American Express® Gold Card and the American Express® Business Gold Card don't come with the ability to enter lounges, it does provide a variety of other benefits. While most of these are food-focused, the card does offer some decent travel insurance, including trip delay insurance.

This lounge is located in Concourse E near gate 11. Several signs help to ensure you're heading in the right direction. Of all the Centurion Lounges I've visited, this lounge exhibits perhaps the least thought-out access point.

Does my Amex get me into Centurion Lounge? ›

Travelers with The Platinum Card® from American Express, The Business Platinum Card® from American Express or the Centurion® Card from American Express receive complimentary access to any outpost within the Centurion Lounge network.

The Platinum Card® from American Express: Unlimited access to Priority Pass locations (enrollment required), unlimited Delta Sky Club access (when traveling on a Delta-operated or marketed flight), and unlimited Centurion Lounge access. Enrollment required.

As a Platinum Cardholder, you are entitled to a complimentary membership in Priority Pass. This allows you to wait for your flight in a relaxed atmosphere in one of the more than 1,200 Priority Pass lounges around the world. You also can have a guest join you free of charge.

American Express already removed complimentary guests from Centurion Lounges unless you spend a significant amount on your card each calendar year. And in early 2025, Amex Platinum cardmembers will only get up to 10 Delta Sky Club visits per program year unless they spend significantly on their card each calendar year.

Corporate Platinum cardholders may bring two complimentary guests into Centurion lounges in the U.S., London Heathrow Airport and Hong Kong International Airport. Centurion cardmembers may bring two guests or immediate family (spouse or domestic partner and children under 18) into the Centurion lounges free of charge.

Access and Guest Policy: Platinum and Centurion cardholders may access the lounge within three hours of their departing flight with a valid Platinum or Centurion card, a same-day boarding pass and a government-issued ID. One guest and children under 16 are permitted. Guests must be traveling on the same itinerary.

Access to the American Express Global Lounge Collection is a benefit available to Platinum and Centurion cardmembers, and it includes entry to more than 1,400 airport lounges worldwide.

U.S Consumer and Business Platinum Card Members and any Additional Platinum Card Members on the Account are eligible for access to the participating lounges in the American Express Global Lounge Collection.
