Great kit ! Very easy install trigger pull is still pretty long but a lot smoother. Much improved shipping speed compared to previous orders !!! Thanks much!

So much nicer than the Chi-com factory thing. Nearly 7 lbs and this kit brought it down to around 3 1/2 lbs. Used the 2 1/2 lb spring. Made it feel so much better and more like a Timney quality.

Too cool! I can actually pull that trigger with my index finger instead of a a crow bar! As a competitive shooter for years.....you know when it's right. Get this part! Or have your smith put it in.....really unbelievable the difference....thanks to all the folks at MCARBO! YOU TOO MR. NELSON!

Cheapest and easiest upgrade for your sks

For $20 this took my sks trigger pull from 7lbs down to 4lbs. Almost 50% reductio Ln in weight. Still not the best, but WAY better than it was. Trigger was a D- now it's a solid B. Only thing that would make it an A is if the length of pull was gone and the weight was lightened even more. And since the trigger pull is lowered because of the lighter mag latch spring, mag changes are also easier! I can empty and load new mags with significantly less hassle. I can't wait to take my gun to a competition. This upgrade is a no brainer. If you haven't got it, you need to. If only mcarbo had a way to shorten the trigger pull :(

My father in law gave me his SKS because the trigger was horrendous and impossible to shoot accurately. I cleaned up the trigger group and installed the 2.5lb spring from this kit and it became the rifle it was suppose to be. Easily shoots 1.5 groups now just by lightening the trigger pull increasing the accuracy tremendously. Not the first M Carbo kit I’ve used and definitely won’t be the last.

I highly recommend this trigger spring kit. I the original spring was absolutely awful at pull of about 9lbs. I in stalled the 2.5 and it's a huge improvement. There is still a lot of travel, but that's a Russian design.

Good springs but that's only half the solution

These springs reduce the trigger pull as advertised, and they also make it easier to release the magazine, but they're only half the solution to a good trigger pull. The other half comes from proper attention to the way the hammer makes contact with the top of the sear. Check out you tube video by Canadian_Tactical, called the SKS trigger job

Give you more options to choose from. if the 2.5 is to light to your preference, you can put in the 3.5
