PEOR HOTEL
We came to this place thinking that we would have a nice experience, that we would enjoy our stay but it ended up being a nightmare. On our second day of arriving, they stole cash, credit and debit cards, and important documents to be able to return to the United States, etc. The staff was not professional at all. They didn't offer us any solution, they didn't want to find the person who stole our things, on the contrary they treated us like liars. Insinuating that my friends and I had brought men into the room. A camera was in the front of our room and when we asked them to check the cameras they said that that camera was not pointing at our room and that they did not have cameras in the back. My friends and I showed them proof and they said that the hours did not match the hours they had. Saying that the door to our room had been opened from the inside at 1:25 am when my friends and I were sleeping. We lost two days of our stay by doing paperwork at the public ministry and reporting it to the police. None of this mattered to them even knowing that my friend needed her green card and passport, which had been stolen, to be able to enter the United States again. These people take advantage of tourists because they know that to continue an investigation I would have to stay in the country. Adding to this bad experience, the bathroom in our room was not working properly and we called to have it fixed. Someone came and said it was already fixed and when we went to use it it still didn't work.I have already stayed at other RIU hotels and I have never had a bad experience. THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL.Llegamos a este lugar pensando que tendríamos una bonita experiencia, que disfrutaríamos de nuestra estadía pero terminó siendo una pesadilla. En nuestro segundo día de haber llegado nos robaron dinero en efectivo, tarjetas de crédito y débito y documentos importantes para poder regresar a los Estados Unidos, etc. El personal no fue nada profesional. No nos ofrecieron ninguna solución, no querían encontrar a la persona que se robó nuestras cosas, al contrario nos trataban de mentirosas. Insinuando que mis amigas y yo habíamos metido hombres a la habitación. Una cámara se encontraba al frente de nuestra habitación y cuando les pedimos que chequearan las cámaras dijeron que esa cámara no apuntaba a nuestra habitación y que por la parte de atrás ellos no tenían cámaras. Mis amigas y yo les mostrabamos pruebas y ellas decían que las horas no coincidían con las horas que ellos tenían. Diciendo que la puerta de nuestra habitación se había abierto por dentro a la 1:25 am cuando mis amigas y yo estábamos durmiendo. Perdimos dos días de la estadía por andar haciendo trámites en el ministerio público y reportandolo con la policía. Nada de esto les importó aun sabiendo que mi amiga necesitaba su residencia y pasaporte los cuales habían sido robados para poder ingresar nuevamente a los Estados Unidos. Estas personas se aprovechan de los turistas porque saben que para seguir una investigación tendría que quedarme en el país. Agregando a esta mala experiencia, el baño en nuestra habitación no estaba funcionando correctamente y llamamos para que lo arreglaran. Alguien llegó y dijo que ya estaba arreglado y cuando fuimos a usarlo aun no servía.Yo ya me he hospedado en otros hoteles de RIU y nunca había tenía una mala experiencia. ESTE ES EL PEOR HOTEL.

Third and best stay ever!
This was our third and best stay at the Riu Santa Fe. The guest rooms and property have been favorably upgraded. FOX NEWS on cable! The pools are pristine. Food selections for every possible preference. We stayed away from the Sistas and their Homies who caused some ruckus at the pool parties. Overall, a top notch vacation. Gracias por Todo!

Excellent Vacation
We spent a week at this resort May 12th to 19th, 2024. We previously stayed at the Palace, but it was not available. I was a little worried because of the negative reviews that the partying was so loud you couldn’t sleep, but we had an absolutely fantastic vacation! The resort is very clean, buffets had tons of selection and our room was beautiful. We are in our 60s so asked for a quiet area and they put us in building seven, the only building with an elevator yay! We had a view of the ocean. The room was very spacious, big walk-in shower, double sinks, and I was able to log into Netflix on the room TV! The noise from the RIU parties really didn’t bother us as we brought our sound machine. Some of the guests coming back to their rooms early morning hours made noise, but that is true at any location. It really didn’t bother us.The à la carte Restaurants are buffet style as previously mentioned by others, however, the American country was not. We didn’t plan on going to that restaurant however we realized they had wings and gave it a try. They were delicious and the shrimp tacos were top notch ! We ended up eating there three times. The Italian restaurant was terrible and we were not impressed with the Asian. The buffets were great with lots of selection. We ate lunch most days at. La Mision As it overlooked the ‘ Quiet’ Pool. It was very relaxing to dine there at lunch. We also ate at the larger buffet, Baja California for dinner and breakfast a couple of times and it was huge, with a great selection and the dining area was nicely decorated and very clean. The drinks at the bars were tasty and refreshing. They didn’t have the same selection that they have at the Palace, but Sante Fe it is about $400 per person less, so you get what you pay for. Did not impact our vacation whatsoever. A few nights we watched the evening shows and enjoyed some drinks, but we were here to just relax, so sometimes we just went back to the room by 10 PM and enjoyed some Netflix and our beautiful room. I will definitely go back to this resort! Both my husband and I couldn’t believe that we were worried for moment, we had such a great vacation

Cabo Birthday
Hotel is incredible. Food was amazing and the people are fabulous. Ready for the next time. We got the ocean view room and it was beautiful. I recommend this hotel for a nice vacation in Cabo. Can't wait to go back a soon as possible. Dont forget to take a tour to the Arc.
