Brutal black dragons are also frequent droppers of dragon spears, dropping it directly with a drop rate of 1 in 512 (while also having access to the rare drop table so they drop it slightly more common than this overall). Dragon spears can be poisoned with either weapon poison or karambwan paste.

In the Wilderness, black dragons can be found in two locations: the Lava Maze Dungeon and Wilderness Slayer Cave. 2 spawn in the Lava Maze dungeon, although accessing them requires a lengthy trek through the maze unless the player has 82 Agility (boostable at 77).

Clicking on the opening in the wall, the player will enter the Wilderness and only has to run west to reach the dragons, which are located north of the Graveyard of Shadows. Players can also use obelisks, or simply walk. You can also use a canoe to get to the lava maze, then you can safespot them from inside.

If you have at least 87 Agility, then run north-west until you reach a bright green vine, bringing you directly to baby green dragons. If you do not have 87 Agility, you may instead continue to run west into a room with a ring-shaped pond of lava. Go up the staircase in the north of this room.

Brutal green dragons are found in the Ancient Cavern, and are a much stronger relative to the green dragons in the Wilderness. Access to the brutal green dragons requires partially completing the Barbarian Training miniquest.

Habitat. Mithril dragons can be found on the top level of the Ancient Cavern.

The Dragon Scale has a 30% chance to drop upon killing a Young Dragon in The End, or a 0.1% chance upon killing a Superior Lost Adventurer in the Catacombs.
